M.Tech Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria for All Programmes

Eligibility for Admission:

a) Non-Provisional Candidates:

M. Tech in Electronics Engineering (Main Campus) with specializations

a) VLSI & Embedded Systems
b) Communication & Signal Processing
B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical Sciences (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Communications, Computer Sciences), M. Sc. Electronics, M. Sc. Information Technology, M. Sc. Computer Sciences, MCA with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.

M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Main Campus)

B. Tech/B E in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.

M.Tech in Power System and Control (Zakura Campus)

B. Tech/B E in relevant branch (Electrical Engineering) with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.

M.Tech in Design Engineering (Zakura Campus)

B. Tech/B E in relevant branch (Mechanical Engineering) with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.

M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (North Campus)

B. Tech/B E in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.

M. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (Zakura Campus)

B.E./B. Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.

b) Provisional Candidates: Candidates whose result is awaited, who have appeared or who shall be appearing in the qualifying examination can apply provisionally under provisional category, on their own risk and responsibility, subject to fulfilling all eligibility conditions, including acquiring minimum required percentage of marks by or before 28th July, 2026. Please note that any candidate seeking provisional admission but doesn’t prove eligibility by or before 28th July, 2026 failing which he/she shall forfeit the admission without refund of any kind of fee (General, Self-finance and NRI Fees).
