Fresh online applications are invited from 08/09/2026 to 11/09/2026 for Phase-II Admission to the vacant seats of various PG programmes, the Spot Admission for which will be held on 15/09/2026.

Online applications are invited for Phase-II Admission to the M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., B.Lib.I.Sc., M.Lib.I.Sc., LL.M. (Specialization: Public Law) and M.Tech. in CST (3-Year Part-Time) programmes offered by the University of North Bengal. The Phase-II admission process, which will be held as per following schedule, has been initiated in view of the remaining vacancies and requests received from prospective students.

Important Instructions:

Candidates who have not applied earlier must REGISTER as a new applicant and SUBMIT their application for Phase-II admission.

Candidates who have already applied during the previous admission phase but not got admitted are required to APPLY AFRESH for Phase-II using their earlier log-in credentials. They are not required to create a new Profile ID. No application submitted before 08/09/2026 will be considered for Phase-II provisional merit list.

The actual intake-wise category-wise position of available seats for each programme will be notified along with the Combined Merit List.

Admission under Phase – II will be conducted through Spot Admission. The physical presence of the candidate is MANDATORY at the time of Spot Admission. Candidates must report within the stipulated reporting schedule. No student will be allowed to report for Spot Admission after 12:00 Noon.

Candidates are advised to carefully follow the admission schedule, eligibility requirements, available remaining vacancy and other instructions notified by the University.

Payment of admission fees can will only be accepted (both in Online Mode through SBI e-collect and University Cash Counter) on the date of Spot Admission only after getting the seat allocation in the respective programmes. No advance payment will be accepted.

All applicants with a rank in the provisional combined list are eligible for spot admission.
The University reserves the right to modify the above schedule, if necessary. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the
University website/admission portal for further updates and notifications.
