Publication of Programme-wise Provisional Combined Merit Lists for Post Graduate Spot Counselling-cum-Admission 2026-2027 (Phase II)

This is to inform all concerned applicants that the Programme-wise Provisional Combined Merit Lists for PG Admission 2026–2027 (Phase-II) are available on the PG Admission Portal 2026–2027 (https://admission.nbu.ac.in/) under the section “Seat Matrix and Merit List for Admission.”

All applicants whose names appear in the respective Combined Merit Lists are hereby requested to be present for the Spot Counselling-cum-Admission on the scheduled date and time, along with the requisite fee for the 1st Semester, as per the schedule given below.

Please note that mere participation in the Spot Counselling-cum-Admission (Phase-II) does not guarantee admission to the desired programme. Admission will be subject to merit, eligibility, availability of seats, and the applicable admission rule.

All are requested to follow the timeline strictly.

A. Instruction to the Candidates:

No Spot Counselling-cum-Admission (Phase II) will be conducted at the NBU Jalpaiguri Campus.
ANY CHANGE IN THE TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF THE SPOT ADMISSION DUE TO UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL BE UPLOADED IN THE UNIVERSITY WEBSITE/PG ADMISSION PORTAL.
Please check the schedule related to any modification before approaching for the Spot Admission (Phase II).
The Spot Counselling-cum-Admission (Phase II) will be conducted as per the Admission Policy of the University.

B. The following measures have to be adopted by each candidate, during SPOT COUNSELLING-cum ADMISSION (Phase II):

Maintenance of COVID-19 PROTOCOL.
No attendant of the students shall be allowed inside the venue. However, they can wait outside.

C. List of Mandatory Documents Required:

Printed-out copy of the online-application form (Phase II).
Original MARKSHEET OF THE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION along with Self-attested Photocopy of the Marksheet.
Requisite Amount for Admission (Fees Structure is already uploaded in the P.G. Admission Portal).
Aspiring candidates will have to report within the specified reporting time at the Conference Hall, Ground Floor, Administrative Building, University of North Bengal.
Payment of admission fees can be made both in Online Mode (SBI e-collect) and in university cash counter.
