A meeting was held from 02:30PM at Pravesh Bhawan, University of Allahabad by the Admission Committee, University of Allahabad to initiate counselling for PG Courses being offered in the academic session 2026-27. In the meeting, about 60 Admissions Coordinators from different departments for PG Admissions were trained for the process of counselling, and the following points were discussed:
⚫ The University has adopted a fully online admission process for PG courses, where, the applicants can register for online counselling through the link www.ccounselling.in or by clicking PG Admissions 2026 on the University website www.allduniv.ac.in under Admissions button by logging in through their PGAT credentials.
⚫ The departments will call upon eligible applicants by publishing a merit list, on the admission dashboard and University website from July 09, 2026.
⚫ The candidate will be able to register from July 10, 2026, only if their total score obtained in the PGAT-2026 is within the merit released by the department for a particular course. The candidates are suggested to regularly visit the e-counselling website/ the University website for cut-offs/merit.
⚫ Only after verification by the PGAT Coordinator, the applicant will be able to deposit the fees and secure the seat in a particular course.
⚫ The applicants are advised to keep handy the scanned copy of their documents to be uploaded, such as 10th certificate cum marksheet, 10+2 certificate cum marksheet, Graduation certificate and marksheet, etc.
⚫ The applicants claiming admission under a particular social category need to strictly provide their recent caste certificate in the Central Government Format only.
⚫ The applicants claiming admission under sports and PwD quota will be called upon by Sports Board and Medical Board, respectively.
⚫ There are several undertaking forms available under the Download undertaking form on the e- counselling website such as undertaking for gap year, undertaking from parents, undertaking for transfer/migration certificate, for
⚫ As mandated by the University Grants Commission, all the applicants should have their respective APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) ID. The applicants can visit https://apaar.education.gov.in/ or on their DigiLocker account to generate their APAAR ID.
