SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The selection process will be conducted on the basis of 100 marks in total.

⚫ For Category I (JRF qualified) candidates will be admitted into the Ph.D. Programme based on the interview.
⚫ For Category II (NET FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR) & Category III (NET FOR Ph.D. only) candidates, 70% weightage will be given for test scores and 30% weightage for the interview for admission to Ph.D. Programme. The Ph.D. admission will be based on the combined merit of NET marks and the marks obtained in the interview/ Viva-voce exam.

APPLICATION FEES:

⚫ General Candidates: Rs. 1000/-
⚫ BC-1/ BC-II Candidates: Rs. 500/-
⚫ SC/ST Candidates- Rs. 250/-

Note:

• The Application fees will be paid through demand draft of any nationalized bank in the favor of Registrar, BBMKU, Dhanbad
• The Application & processing fees, once paid is non-refundable.
• Candidates who have already applied for Ph.D. admission pursuant to University Notification No. BBMKU/R/1741/2025 dated 27.09.2025 are not required to apply again.
