PhD Selection List 2025-26 Released Check Provisional Admission List and Reporting Dates

Consequent upon the availability of few vacant seats, the list of candidates provisionally selected for Ph.D. Programmes for the academic session 2025-26, on the basis of entrance/interaction points and intake capacity for the said programme is hereby notified.

The selection of the candidates is strictly provisional subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as determined and fixed by the university. Selected candidates are hereby informed to report to the office of Admission Section for verification of documents and completion of their admission formalities from 24.03.2026.

Terms and Conditions

The admission of the candidate is purely provisional and mere inclusion of the credentials of the candidate in the annexure to this notification shall not confer any right for admission which is subject to their eligibility and further verification of their documents during admission process of registration. The candidature shall be liable to be cancelled in case any information furnished by any candidate proves to be false/fabricated, and action as warranted under law shall be initiated against such candidates;
Provisionally selected candidates must report to the Office of the Admissions, CUS Gogji Bagh, Srinagar on any working day by or before 27-03-2026, along with application form, original documents, photocopies thereof and requisite fee for completion of admission formalities.
Selected candidates are required to submit an Affidavit by a 1st Class Magistrate, stating that he/she is not working or studying in any institution/organization and No Objection Certificate from the employer in case of in-service candidates.
In case any candidate fails to report within the stipulated time, the seat shall be allotted to the next candidate in order of merit.
The admission section of CUS shall ensure that all the selected candidates are eligible to the programme in terms of the admission notification issued by the university and have category certificate (wherever applicable) issued by or before last date for submission of registration form. The same may be verified from the original certificates/documents.
After verification of the documents, the admission section of CUS shall issue authority slip to the selected candidates for deposition of “Prescribed Fee”.
All the subsequent selection lists shall be available on the University website: www.cusrinagar.edu.in. Students are directed to check University website regularly
