Extension of Last Date for P.G (Self finance), M.Lis & B.Lis 2026

The last date to apply online on the website of Patliputra University, Patna www.ppup.ac.in at Admission link - ppupadm.samarth.edu.in for interested and eligible students for admission in Post Graduate Self Finance Courses- MBA, MCA, M.Sc.(Bio.Tec.), M.Sc.(IT), P.G.D.C.R. for session 2026-28, and M.Lis. & B. Lis for session 2026-27, which was previously 07.08.2026, has been extended to 14.08.2026.

Students belonging to General/BC-I/BC-II/EWS category will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 1100/- (Eleven Hundred), and SC/ST category students will have to pay Rs. 750/- (Seven Hundred Fifty).



(A) Eligibility Criteria:

  1. MBA:- Graduation with at least 50% marks (45% for Reserved Categories) in aggregate & having score of CMAT/MAT/AIMA (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT or Common Entrance Test of respective States) followed by GD & PI.
  2. MCA:- BCA with 45% Marks, Passed in Mathematics at Bachelor Degree and +2 level; or 55% marks in allied subjects (Math, statistics/Physics/electronics with computer applications / computer science as a subsidiary subject having passed in Mathematics at Bachelor degree and 10+2 level); or B.Tech./B.E. in CS, ICT/Electronics/EC Engineering/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Instrumentation having passed in Mathematics at Bachelor degree and 10+2 level.
  3. M.Sc. (Bio. Technology):- Graduate degree in Life Sciences (Bio. Tech/Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Microbiology/Industrial Microbiology/Environmental Science, Bioinformatics, B.Tech., Bio. Technology, B.Sc. Agriculture, Bachelor in Veterinary Science (B.V. Sc.), B.D.S., B.A.M.S., B.H.M.S. & equivalent with 55% Marks in aggregate at Graduation level (45% for SC, ST, & EBC).
  4. M.Sc (IT):- Candidate must have passed B.Sc.(IT), B.Sc. (Electronics/Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics) & BCA with 45% marks.
  5. M.Sc. (Environmental Science):- B.Sc. with Botany/Zoology/Physics/Chemistry/EWM/Environmental Science/Engineering and Science graduate.
  6. P.G.D.C.R.:- Graduation with at least 45% marks.
  7. M.Lis:- Passed BLIS.
  1. B. Lis :- Graduation with at least 45% marks
(B) Students are advised to choose 03 (Three) Colleges where the course is available.
(C) Reservation Rules: As per the Reservation rule of the Government of Bihar.
(D) Selection Criteria:- The merit list will be prepared for the regular courses on the basis of the marks obtained in respective Honors' subject/major subjects if vacancy exists to be followed by subsidiary/pass course and lastly by the Allied subjects.
(E) If a candidate mentions his/her caste category/marks etc. falsely his/her application form will be rejected without refund of the application fee.
NOTE:- Students applying for admission in M.Lis must enter the marks of B.Lis in the column for Master or P.G. or Equivalent degree at the time of applying.

Documents required for applying:-

  1. Matriculation (10th) Mark Sheet / Certificate.
  2. Intermediate (10+2) / Equivalent Mark Sheet.
  3. Graduation / Equivalent Mark Sheet.
  4. Reservation Certificate (Caste Certificate / EWS Certificate / Disability Certificate), if applicable.
  5. AADHAAR CARD
  6. APAAR ID
