ADDENDUM

In partial modification of notification for Ph.D. Admission Test (for Academic Year 2024 and Academic Year 2025) as communicated vide Memo No. PUP (DSW/ 02/26) R/26- 305, dated 10.02.2026

Note: The validity of the Certificate/Score Card of NET/CSIR-NET/GATE or similar national level test qualified eligible candidates will be determined in the following manner:
i) For admission to the Ph.D. programme in the Academic Year-2024: NET/CSIR-NET/ GATE or similar national level test Score Card/Certificate must be valid on 18.12.2024, i.e., the date of first notification for Pre-Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) 2024.
ii) For admission to the Ph.D. programme in the Academic Year-2025: NET/CSIR-NET/ GATE or similar national level test Score Card/Certificate must be valid on 10.02.2026, i.e., the date of notification for admission to the Ph.D. programme in the Academic Year- 2025.

CORRIGENDUM

In partial modification of notification for Ph.D. Admission Test (for Academic Year 2024 and Academic Year 2025) as communicated vide Memo No. PUP (DSW/ 02/26) R/26- 305, dated 10.02.2026

1. The first paragraph of the above-mentioned Notification is revised as-
"Online applications are invited for Ph.D. Admission Test through Samarth Portal from desirous and eligible applicants for admission to the Ph.D. Course in Academic Year 2024 and Academic Year 2025 as per conditions laid down in the letters from the Governor's Secretariat. Bihar memos BSU- 05/2010-2684/ GS (1) dated 21.09.2017 and its amendments (BSU-05/2010-3230/ GS (1) dated 18.12.2018: BSU-05/2010-1141/R.S. (1) dated 12.07.2024)."
2. In the "Required Documents to be uploaded" section "NET/CSIR/GATE score card (if applying to NET-based quota)" is revised to "Valid NET/CSIR/GATE score card (if applying to NET-based quota)".
3. "BET" is replaced by "similar other National level tests" in all places of the notification for Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT)- for the Academic Year, 2024 and Academic Year, 2025 as communicated vide Memo No. PUP-(DSW/ 02/26) R/26-305, dated 10.02.2026.
4. The last date for application for Ph.D. Admission Test (for Academic Year 2024 and Academic Year 2025) is extended to 06.03.2026.
5. The subject-wise revised vacant seats for admission to the Ph.D. programme for Academic Year 2024 and Academic Year 2025 are as follows:-
