Notification for Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) - 2022

Online Applications are invited from desirous and eligible applicants for Pre Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT), 2022 as per Regulations approved by the Governor's Secretariat, Bihar, vide memo no. BSU – 05/2010 (2684 / GS (1) dated 21.09.2017 and BSU (Regulation) – 05 /2010 – 3230 / GS (1), dated 18.12.2018 for pursuing the Doctoral Degree.

Entrance Test Schedule

The test will be held in two sittings which are as follows:

Entrance Test Centre

Test will be held at the centre of Purnea/ Katihar District, which will be duly communicated to the candidates on time. The selection of candidates will be based on the basis of marks obtained in Written Test and Interview, combined together.

Reservation Policy

The reservation policy of the State Government will be applicable on the total number of available seats in each subject at the point of education.

Note: As per Governor's Secretariat, Bihar, Memo No. BSU (Regulation)- 05/ 2010 – 3230 / GS (1) Dated 18.12.2018, the subject wise merit list will be prepared on a scale of 100 including marks in Master Degree; weightage on PAT/NET/BET/JRF and interview as mentioned in table I, given below.

10 marks will be given to the teachers and non-teaching employees (having more than three years experience) as given to JRF.
