Revised Schedule of Events for the Mop-Up Phase of the Decentralised UG Admission Portal, 2026

In partial modification of Annexure-I to this Department's Notification No. 999-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14 dated 31.08.2026 regarding online decentralised admission to Undergraduate Programmes in General Degree Higher Education Institutions through the Decentralised Admission Portal for the Academic Session 2026-2027, it is hereby ordered that the Mop-Up Phase of the decentralised admission process shall be conducted in accordance with the following revised Schedule of Events:

Phase	Date	Events
MOP-UP	16 September, 2026	Launch of Decentralised Admission Portal Publication of Seat Matrix
	16-19 September, 2026	Registration and Application in the Mop-Up Phase under the Decentralised Admission Process from: (1) Fresh applicants; and (2) Existing applicants of the Centralised Admission Portal
	22 September, 2026	Publication of Merit List and Allocation List
	22-24 September, 2026	Admission against Seat Allotment
	22-25 September, 2026	Physical verification of admitted candidates at the institution level

*The schedule is subject to change in case of exigencies.

All other terms, conditions, procedures and provisions contained in the aforesaid Notification dated 31.08.2026 shall remain unchanged and continue to apply.

All concerned Higher Education Institutions and other stakeholders shall take necessary action accordingly and adhere strictly to the above schedule.
