Admission Notice for Performing Arts Therapy Centre
October 2026 to August 2027

The university invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma (1-year duration) and Advanced Post Graduate Diploma (1-year duration) courses of Performing Arts Therapy under the Performing Arts Therapy Centre of the university on first come first served basis from 7th September, 2026 to 7th October, 2026 on all working days of the university (except university holidays)

Minimum qualifications for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma / Advanced PG Diploma in Performing Arts Therapy.

• The minimum requisite qualification for admission to the PG Diploma course is graduation in any subject.
• The minimum requisite qualifications for admission to the Advanced PG Diploma course is, successful completion of PG Diploma course or graduation in Psychology.

Availability of Application Form:
Application form along with Anti-Ragging declaration form may either be downloaded from the University website www.rbu.ac.in or collected from the Office of the PERFORMING ARTS THERAPY CENTRE, RBU, E. B. Campus, 56A, B. T. Road, Kolkata - 700050 from 7th September, 2026 to 7th October, 2026 on all working days of the University (except University holidays). The duly filled-in Application Form and Anti-Ragging Declaration Form along with a recent passport-size colour photo, self-attested copies of Admit card (Madhyamik & Equivalent Exam) and self-attested copies of all examinations passed (Madhyamik/H.S./Graduation etc.) need to be submitted at the time of admission.

Admission Timing:
From 12:30 P.M. to 03:30 P.M. the eligible candidates can take spot admission during the period from 15th September, 2026onwards, on all working days of the University (except University holidays).

Course Fees:

• For PGD courses: Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) for Indian Citizens.
• For APGD courses: Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) for Indian Citizens.

Award of Certificates:
Certificates will be awarded after successful completion of both the PGD & APGD courses.

Course Credit:
Each Semester – 20 credit hours

Class Timings:
Preferably Monday, Wednesday & Friday. The day will be changed for extra classes.
Mode: Offline.
Timing: 03:00 P.M. to 06:00 P.M.

Commencement of Classes:
The date of commencement of classes will be notified in University Website.

General Instructions and Information to the Applicants:

• Admission of a candidate will be cancelled if any information given by him/her is found to be wrong or suppressed.
• Duly filled-in application form must be signed by the candidate.
• Duly filled-in application form along with self-attested copies of all mark sheets, certificates and other relevant documents has to be submitted by the candidates at the time of admission. The candidates will have to produce the original mark sheets and certificates for verification by the office of the Performing Arts Therapy Centre at the time of admission.
• The admitted students shall be bound to abide by the rules and regulations issued by the University in this behalf from time to time.
• In case of any disputes, the decision of the University will be final and binding to all concerned.
