Application for Non-NET Fellowship to full-time M.Phil/ Ph.D Scholars
in State-funded Higher Education Institutions in West Bengal

The Ph.D scholars, who have taken admission in the year 2026 under the Faculty Arts/Fine Arts/Visual Arts at this University and are not enjoying any other scholarship from any funding agency, are hereby informed to submit the duly filled-in prescribed Application Form including Annexure-I to the office of the undersigned within 31^st August, 2026 for online registration on the SVMCM portal at svmcm.wbhed.gov.in with a view to submit the online applications to the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, for consideration towards awarding Non-NET fellowship to the eligible Ph.D scholars under the Scheme for Non-NET Fellowship to full-time M.Phil/ Ph.D Scholars in State-funded Higher Education Institutions in West Bengal.

Amount and tenure of fellowship: (i) Ph.D- Rs. .8000/- per month (not exceeding a period of 4 years)

Application Format including Annexure-I may either be downloaded from the University website: www.rbu.ac.in or it may be collected from the Development Office from 31^st August, 2026. After submission of the duly filled-in application form including Annexure-I the process of registration of the scholars will be initiated by the office of the undersigned. Therefore, all the eligible Ph.D Scholars admitted in the 2026 under the Faculty Arts/Fine Arts/Visual Arts are requested to contact the office of the undersigned immediately.
