Reopening of Admission Portal for 2-year Post Graduate Admission, 2026-27

New applications are invited for the remaining vacant seats in 2-year Postgraduate Courses under NEP 2020 in Academic session 2026-27 in Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Ancient Indian and World History (AIWH), Pali, Linguistics and Acharya in Traditional Oriental Learning (Advaita Vedanta, Panini Vyakarana & Sahitya) in Kolkata campus as well as Sanskrit in Nabadwip Campus.
Online application will be reopened from 13^th August, 2026 to l8^th August, 2026.

Revised timeline:

• The PG Admission Portal shall be reopened for fresh applications for the Mop-Up Round against the remaining vacant seats from 13^th August, 2026 to 18^th August, 2026.
• Applicants selected for admission shall be permitted to pay the prescribed admission fees on 19^th August, 2026 and 20 August, 2026.
• Physical verification of documents shall be conducted on 21^st August, 2026.
• In this phase of admission, only HonoursAvlajor in single Subject Degree course (3 years/6 semesters) shall be eligible for admission to the PG programme in a discipline that corresponds to their Honours/Major discipline studied during the Undergraduate (UG) programme.
• No further extension of the application deadline shall be permitted beyond 18^th August, 2026.
• The PG Admission process for the academic session 2026-27 shall stand closed on 21^st August, 2026, following completion of the physical verification process.
