Admission to Vacant Seats in different UG Courses (Non-CUET), 2026

In accordance with the UGC letter no. D.O. No. F. 22-8/2023 (CU) dated 7th June, 2024, a fresh registration portal (NON-CUET) will be opened on the Samarth platform to fill the vacant seats FOR ADMISSION TO THE FOLLOWING COURSE WHERE SEATS ARE LYING VACANT.

Subject-wise and Category-wise vacancy details are attached. Any eligible candidates (with or without CUET score) can apply.

Registration will open on 15/10/2026 at 12:01 A.M. and will close on 26/10/2026 at 11:55 P.M.

Eligible applicants can visit the following website for registration: https://visvabharatiadmission.samarth.edu.in

All guidelines will remain the same as specified in the relevant sections in the Prospectus 2026, which can be downloaded from the Visva-Bharati admission portal (www.vbadmission.in ).

For admission, the details guidelines are attached. As per UGC notification (letter no. D.O. No. F. 22-8/2023 (CU) dated 7th June, 2024), the concerned departments may conduct admission test. The modalities admission test will be displayed later in Visva-Bharati admission portal.

Candidates should take utmost care in filling out the profile section and academic section during registration, as no correction window will be available in this mode. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Registration Fees:

UR, OBC, and EWS: Rs. 1,000/- for 1st Application and Rs. 400/- for 2nd Application.
SC, ST, and PWD: Rs. 300/- for 1st Application and Rs. 150/- for 2nd Application.
The registration fee is non-refundable.

Seat Conversion & Vacancy Terms:

In case of non-availability of OBC-NCL and EWS candidates, seats will be converted to UR category.
In case of non-availability of SC applicants, seats will be converted to ST & vice-versa.
Vacancies in any category may increase in case of cancellation / withdrawal of admission.
