NOTICE
Oral Examination of Shortlisted Applicants

The shortlisted applicants for Ph.D. Admission – 2026 in the Department of Assamese are hereby informed that they are required to appear for the Oral Examination (Interview) scheduled to be held on 13 October, 2026 (Tuesday) at 11:00 A.M. in Hybrid Mode (Online/Offline).

The online meeting link will be shared with the eligible applicants through their registered e-mail addresses before the commencement of the interview.

All shortlisted applicants are required to come prepared with a proposed Ph.D. synopsis, clearly indicating the proposed research topic/title, objectives, research questions, methodology, scope, and other relevant details of the proposed study. Applicants may be asked to present and discuss their proposed research during the oral examination.

All applicants are advised to be present and ready at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
