Interview for Admission to Ph.D. Programme in Department of Horticulture and Post-Harvest Technology, 2026-2027

Department of Horticulture and Post-Harvest Technology, Palli Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Agriculture), Visva-Bharati, Sriniketan will conduct the Interview of eligible candidates for the admission in Ph.D. program in Horticulture for the academic session 2026-27. The list of eligible candidates will be given in the Visva-Bharati Admission Website. The candidates will also be communicated through the e-mail given by them at the time of application.

• Date of Interview: 12th October, 2026
• Time of Interview: 10:30 A.M. (candidates must report by 10:00 A.M.)
• Venue of Interview: Department of Horticulture and Post-Harvest Technology, Palli Siksha Bhavana, Sriniketan
• Mode of Interview: The interview will be conducted preferably ofline (in person; the physical presence of the candidates is advisable). If any candidate can not appear physically due to genuine difficulties, may be allowed to appear online with prior intimation through email to hod.hpht@visva-bharat.ac.in. Upon receipt of the candidate's e-mail, the link to join online will be shared one day before the interview.

• Eligible candidates shall present a Research Proposal/Synopsis (Power Point Presentation with not more than 10 slides) on a relevant topic related to Horticulture and Post-Harvest Technology.
• The time allotted for the presentation is 10 minutes plus 10 minutes for interview-cum-discussion.
