Students who will secure 50% marks in the entrance test will be eligible to be called for the interview.
Relaxation of marks will be altowed in the entrance examination for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC differently-abled category as per the decision of the Commission (Government of lndia) from time to time.

The list of qualified candidates in the Ph.D Entrance Written Test will be published on 12/10/2026.
Those who will qualify the written test will be eligible to appear for the interview/viva-voce on 12/10/2026.
Provided that for selection of candidates based on the entrance test conducted by the Visva-Bharati, a weightage of 70% for the entrance test and 30% for the performance in the interview/viva-voce shall be given.

All concerned are requested to be present on time to appear in the examination as per the details provided above.

Candidates who are employed (both in Government Service or Non-Government Service) have to submit their 'NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE' from their respective employer(s) at the time of interview/viva-voce.
