Academic Session 2026-2027

Candidates named in the eligible list are requested to attend the Ph.D. admission interview in Mathematics for the academic session 2026-2027 as scheduled below.

• Interview: 12th October, 2026 (Monday), from 11:00 A.M. onwards in person (offline).
• Location: Department of Mathematics, Siksha-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan - 731235, West Bengal.
• Reporting: Candidates should reach the Department by 10:00 A.M. for document verification.
• Documents to bring:
  Bring the following originals with one set of self-attested photocopies. For documents issued electronically, carry clear printouts of the official documents.
  • Printout of the submitted Ph.D. application form.
  • Government-issued photo identity card.
  • PG marksheets, including the final passing result.
  • Valid scorecard of the qualifying CSIR-UGC NET/UGC-NET or GATE examination used in the application. The scorecard is mandatory, including for NET-JRF applicants. Bring the corresponding NET certificate/JRF award letter, where applicable.
  • SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PWD certificate, if claimed, issued by the competent authority.
