Notification of Interview for admission to Ph.D. Programme, 2026-2027 (In-Person)

The candidates called for interview (list attached below) are requested to appear before the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) for Synopsis Presentation on a topic of his/her research interest at the Department of English (located within what is popularly known as Padma-Bhavana).

Documents to be produced on the day of interview (Original proof and a set of Copies):

  • Mark sheets and certificates of all qualifying Examinations.
  • JRF/NET (with new regulations validity).
  • Reservation Certificates (where applicable).
  • A write up of research proposal in hard copies.
For any query, students may write to the following email addresses: The list of Ineligible candidates (with reason) and list of candidates whose documents are not sufficient for ascertaining eligibility (with reason) are also attached.

Candidates are advised to visit the University's admission portal for necessary updates regarding Merit List Publication and Admission Dates.
