NOTICE FOR INTERVIEW

List of eligible and ineligible candidates

• Date of Interview: 13/10/2026 (Tuesday)
• Time of Interview: 10:30 A.M. (candidates must report by 10:00 A.M.)
• Venue of Interview: Department of Plant Pathology, Palli Siksha Bhavana, Sriniketan
• Mode of Interview: Hybrid mode (Physical presence of the candidates is advisable; if any candidate can not appear physically, may appear online with prior intimation though email to hod.plantpathology@visva-bharati.ac.in. On receipt of the e-mail from the candidate the link to join online will be shared one day before the interview).

• Eligible candidates shall present a Research Proposal /Synopsis (Power Point presentation with no more than 10 slides) on a relevant topic related to Plant Pathology.
• The time allotted for the presentation is 10 minutes plus 10 minutes for interview-cumdiscussion.
• All the relevant document regarding Ph.D. admission should be kept ready for reference at the time of interview.
• Candidates are advised to submit a copy of synopsis of their proposed research work within 500-600 words to HOD mail at least one day before interview and prepare themselves for PPT slide presentation.
