Notification for Non-CUET Departmental Test for Admission to M.A. in Philosophy & Comparative Religion, 2026-27

The following is for general notification that the Admission Test for P.G. in Philosophy will be held (offline) on 17/07/2026 from 11:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M., and for P.G. in Comparative Religion will be held (offline) from 03:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M. at the Department of Philosophy and Comparative Religion.

The modalities of the Admission Test (written) will be as follows:

• The written test will be for 50 marks in total, comprising 15 objective-type or multiple-choice questions of 2 marks each and 2 comprehension tests of 10 marks each.
• For Philosophy, 1 comprehension test will be based on Indian Philosophical traditions and 1 on Western Philosophical traditions.
• For Comparative Religion, 1 comprehension test will be based on Indian Religious traditions and 1 on non-Indian religious traditions.
• Reporting time for the admission test for Philosophy is 09:30 A.M. on 17/07/2026, and for Comparative Religion is at 02:00 P.M. on 17/07/2026.
• Admit cards will be issued to the candidates upon verification of the necessary documents and certificates (including caste and differently-abled certificates, where required, proof of date of birth, marksheets from 10ᵗʰ standard onwards, etc.) submitted while filling up the application form.
