Notification for Non-CUET Departmental Test for PG Admission to Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension (REC) - M.A. in Rural Management 2026-27

ADMISSION NOTICE
M.A. in Rural Management
Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)

All eligible applicants are hereby informed about the Admission Test of M.A. in Rural Management under the Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension (REC), Palli Samgathana Vibhaga (PSV), Visva-Bharati, Sriniketan.

Date of Admission Test: 15^th July, 2026 (Wednesday)
Mode of Examination: offline (written & viva-voce Examination)
Reporting Time: 09:30 A.M.
Viva-Voce Examination: The Viva-Voce examination will start from 02:00 P.M. on the same day.

Modalities of Examination:

• Total Marks: 100
  • Written Examination: 70 Marks
    - 35 Marks for MCe
    - 35 Marks for Subjective Questions
  • Viva-Voce: 30 Marks
• Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the combined score by the candidate in both Graduation Marks and Departmental Entrance Test Conducted by the department with 50:50 ratio (equal weightage).
• Candidates must bring:
  • I copy of the submitted application form,
  • An original government-issued photo identity card (Aadhaar Card lVoter ID Card / passport / Driving Licence), and
  • A blue or black ballpoint pen.
• Electronic gadgets, including mobile phones examination hall.
• Candidates are advised to visit the University admission website regularly for updates regarding publication of merit lists and admission schedules.
