Online Application Process for Admission to Ph.D. Programmes 2026-27

Online application process for admission to Ph.D. programmes at Visva-Bharati for the session 2026-27 will commence from 11th September (Friday), 2026.

All Indian applicants can start filling up the application forms online for Ph.D. programmes from Visva-Bharati Admission portal: vbadmission.in

Eligible applicants can visit the following website for registration:
https://visvabharatiadmission.samarth.edu.in/

The details of the courses are given in Ph.D. Prospectus-2026. The Ph.D. Prospectus-2026 can be downloaded from the Visva-Bharati admission portal vbadmission.in.

It is to be noted that the entire process of admission 2026-2027 will be guided by the Ph.D. Prospectus-2026 and the notifications published time to time by the University in the admission portal. Candidates must read carefully the guidelines available in the Ph.D. Prospectus before submission of online application through Samarth.

Registration Fees

Important Notes:

• The application fee is not refundable.
• Application fees are to be paid through online only.
• The applicants are requested to regularly visit the Visva-Bharati admission portal to keep updated about the information relating to admission for the session 2026-27.
• Candidates should take utmost care in filling up the profile section during registration as no correction window will be available for this section.
• Incomplete application will be rejected.
• Please note that no correction in profile section will be available once the payment is made.
