Applications are invited for admission to 1ˢᵗ year in Post-Graduate & B.L.I.Sc. programmes (including PG programmes running under CCAE) for the academic year 2026-27 in Vidyasagar University and its affiliated colleges (except Autonomous Colleges and Private Colleges). Duly filled in applications should be submitted through the online admission portal of Vidyasagar University (https://eadmission.vidyasagar.ac.in ).

Who Can Apply:

The candidates appearing in UG 6ᵗʰ semester (single major), 2026 (under NEP) may apply, provided that they have cleared all semester examinations upto 5ᵗʰ semester with valid eligibility at the time of application.
The candidates already passed 3 years UG programme under CBCS(Hons) or 4 years UG (Hons) programme having valid eligibility may also apply.
For M.Tech. programme, B.Tech./B.E. Pass out students, as well as students appearing in B.Tech./B.E. final semester, and PG pass out students, as well as the students appearing in PG 4ᵗʰ semester, may also apply, provided that they have cleared all the previous semester examinations with valid eligibility at the time of application.

NOTE:

The details of Programmes available, Institutions, Eligibility criteria, Admission Process flow, rules and regulations of admission, and merit rules are available in the Prospectus 2026. Candidates are advised to read the Prospectus thoroughly and then fill up the form accordingly.
Candidates are advised to note that this online application is only for admission to PG programmes in Vidyasagar University and its Affiliated Colleges. For admission to PG programmes in Autonomous Colleges and Private Colleges, candidates are advised to follow the website of the respective college(s) for more information regarding admissions to the PG programmes.

Only students who have passed in the year 2024, 2025 and 2026 are eligible to apply for admission to the following Post-Graduate & B.L.I.Sc. programmes for the academic session 2026-27. There is no bar on year of passing for application to MBA, MSW, LL.M. and all the PG programmes running under CCAE.

Application Procedure

The applicants will fill in the Application Form only through online portal (http://eadmission.vidyasagar.ac.in ).
The applicants have to
(i) ‘register’ themselves in the portal using mobile no and email address,
(ii) fill in the form with the personal details, academic details including ABC ID. Aadhaar no etc.
(iii) upload the scanned copy(s) of all the marksheets & certificates, photo and signature
(iv) Choices of eligible Programmes/Courses of study and Institution
(v) Pay the requisites Common Entrance Test(CET) Fees (Admission Test fees).
The same application is applicable for PG Programme running under CCAE and Affiliated Colleges. The selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit which will be calculated as per rule as described in Section D of this document.
The fees (non-refundable) for the Common Entrance Test (Admission Test fees), Rs. 300/- for General/Unreserved Category and Rs. 200/- for reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD), are to be paid online through the admission portal, during the application submission process.

The eligible applicants, who have completed the qualifying degree, will have to fill in the application form with their SGPA in each semester separately in case of semester system. The eligible applicants who are appearing in the final semester of the qualifying degree or awaiting their final semester results, will have to fill in the application form with their SGPA in each semester separately up to the last semester passed. In case of annual system, the percentage (%) of marks (aggregate of Part-I, II & III) has to be filled up. All the applicants have to produce all the original marksheets, certificates and identity proof at the time of verification. The details of the Admission Process flow is described in Section D of this Document.
