Notification regarding Interview for Admission into the Ph.D. Programme 2026-27 in Philosophy

This is to notify all concerned that the interview for admission to the Ph.D. Programme in Philosophy for the academic session 2026-2027, pursuant to University Notification No. VU/R/Ph.D./811/2026 dated 29.06.2026, will be held on Monday, 03 August 2026, at 10:30 A.M. The interview will take place in the Chamber of the Head, Department of Philosophy and the Life-world, Vidyasagar University.

All eligible applicants are requested to appear before the Interview Board and bring the following documents at the time of the interview:

A valid photo identity card.
Four (04) copies of the Research Proposal.
All original academic testimonials and certificates for verification.
One set of self-attested photocopies of all academic testimonials and certificates.

Candidates are advised to report to the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the interview.
