CBCS 10+2+3 system or equivalent or NEP (Major/Minor/MDP) with 50% marks in Graduation/Post Graduation or in aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC) are eligible for Application.
The Merit-based final Selection of the Eligible candidates will be made through Admission Test.

Online Applications are invited for admission to the 1st Semester of 2-year above mentioned P.G. Programmes. The Subjects are:

NB: Number of seats and seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and Differently-abled students (PWD) for each subject have been shown in PROSPECTUS 2026.

Online applications are invited for admission to P.G. Programmes for the academic session 2026-2028 through our official website www.wbsupgadmission.com / www.wbsu.ac.in commencing from 19/06/2026. A help desk for filling in the online form is available on the website. No off-line application will be entertained. Candidates who have appeared/are due to appear in UG 6th Semester 2026 (under NEP) provided that they have cleared all semester examination upto 5th Semester / Passed in the 3 years UG under CBCS / Part-III (I+I+I) examinations and have got clear results or its equivalent from UGC recognised Universities may apply.

All admissions to any of the above programmes are provisional and be treated as final only when the candidate successfully completes the $6^{\text{th}}$ semester examination and submits the relevant marksheet.

Criteria

Eligibility Criteria	Essential Qualification: CBCS & I+I+I: Graduates in Science / Arts / Commerce / Management / Medical / Engineering / Law (5 year) / B.Tech. / M.Tech. and equivalent courses under 10+2+3 system or equivalent with 50% marks in Graduation / Post Graduation or in aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC). For NEP: Major / Minor / MDP from any subject. Desirable Qualification: Qualified in CAT / MAT / XMAT / GMAT / GATE and relevant UGC-specified National / State Level Entrance Tests.
Admission Criteria	The Merit-based final Selection of the Eligible candidates will be made through Admission Test.
Reservation of seats	Reservation rules of the Government of West Bengal will be followed.
Number of Seats	Total Seat: 60 Foreign candidates are to be considered as general candidates.

Instructions/Guidelines for the Applicants

Candidate must follow the Admission Schedule to be notified on WBSU admission website time to time.
Before filling up Application Form, candidates must go through carefully the details in this Information Brochure.
It is suggested that the candidates should carry recent testimonials, scanned photograph with him/her while applying on-line, so that right information may be entered. The applicants are advised to fill in the forms carefully, after successful registration and submission of final application form, no editing is permissible, in respect of Caste Category, preference if any etc. is not permissible.
Application Forms found to be incomplete or supported by insufficient documents even after the notified period for correction or updating will be summarily rejected.
If an Applicant is found to have suppressed any fact/ information regarding previous degree his/her application will be summarily rejected.
The admission of a candidate will be cancelled, at any stage, if the candidate is found to have suppressed any fact/ information regarding previous degree, year of passing or any information which may render him ineligible.
The detailed Admission Schedule / Admission Test Schedule (i.e. time, venue etc.) will be notified from time to time on the admission portal of the University Website.
All information, given in the Brochure, is provisional and subject to change from time to time, and will be notified in the admission portal.
Applicants are advised to keep their Online Application Number & Password in safe custody.
Admission will be cancelled at any stage if a candidate is found to have not cleared all/any of the 6 (Six) Semesters’ examinations for CBCS or 3-Years Hons. or Major/Minor/MDP Subjects upto 5 (fifth) Semesters’ examination or have submitted False/Untrue information or insufficient documents.
Applicants are advised to take a print after successfully submitting Application forms and produce the same as and when it is required by the University authority.
Merit List will be published at http://www.wbsupgadmission.com , https://www.wbsu.ac.in .
After publication of each phase of selection list, candidates will be given two to three working days to get admitted in the University. To complete the Admission Process they have to prepare themselves with necessary documents (All testimonials original and photocopy, Proof of birth, Caste certificate, Income certificate, EWS Ceritificate, OBC-NCL Ceritificate (applicable for OBC Candidates), Domicile certificate, (if necessary) 10th std. Mark sheet & Admit Card, 10+2 std. Mark sheet & Admit Card (if required original & photocopy for verification after online admission). Admission of students who provide false information will be cancelled immediately without any refund of fees.
