Student Induction Programme

In pursuance of the approval of the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, it is hereby notified that the Student Induction Programme for the newly admitted PG 1st Semester students (Academic Session 2026–2027) will be held on 3rd August 2026 (Monday) from 11:30 a.m. onwards at the University Auditorium.

The programme schedule shall be as follows:

11:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.	Registration of Students
11:45 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.	Welcome Address by the Registrar (Additional Charge)
11:50 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.	Inaugural Address by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor: Vision, Mission, Values and Academic Excellence of the University
12:10 p.m. – 12:25 p.m.	Presentation by the Controller of Examinations: Academic Regulations, Examination and Evaluation
12:25 p.m. – 12:35 p.m.	Presentation by the Finance Officer: Fee Structure, Scholarships/Freeships, Student Financial Assistance and Financial Procedures
12:35 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.	Presentation by the Director, IQAC: Quality Assurance, Student Mentoring, Academic Integrity, Student Feedback and Skill Development Opportunities
12:45 p.m. – 12:55 p.m.	Presentation by the University Librarian: Library Services, Digital Resources and e-Resources
12:55 p.m. – 1:10 p.m.	Introduction of Deans, Heads/Coordinators of PG Departments and Faculty Members
1:10 p.m. – 1:25 p.m.	Interaction with Students and Open House by the Inspector of Colleges
1:25 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.	Vote of Thanks
1:30 p.m. onwards	Department-wise Induction Programme, Campus Familiarization, Interaction with Faculty Mentors and Visit to Key Student Facilities
