Eligibility
  • Nationality: For general category admissions candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years on 31, December.
  • Academic Requirements: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admissions. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry or Computer Science the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science or Biotechnology the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility. Rounding off of the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.
  • Entrance Examination: Candidates should qualify (a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala (KEAM) and should be listed in KEAM Rank List or JEE Eligibility.
  • Supernumerary quota for Foreign Nationals (FN), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) & Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC): Visiting Visa holders and those who hold a Visa with 'Housewife' status are not eligible to sponsor a student. The certificate of employment on company letterhead of either of the parents is required.
  • NRI Quota: The Managements are entitled to fill up 15% seats in the NRI category (NRI) by admitting qualified students who are children of Non-Resident Indians. For this, a copy of the visa of the Father / Mother / Sponsor in English is required.
