High Performance Computing (HPC) plays an important role in both scientific advancement and economic competitiveness of a nation - making production of scientific and industrial solutions faster, less expensive, and of higher quality. HPC is a key component in many applications including designing of vehicles, aeroplanes, discovery of drugs, discovery and extraction of new energy sources like oil and natural gas, weather forecasting, and many more.
C-DAC is the pioneer in the area of the supercomputing and has established HPC infrastructure across the nation in the past 35+ years through its PARAM supercomputers. C-DAC has been involved in creating HPC skilled manpower who contribute to nation building by solving computationally challenging problems in several areas of practical significance.

Program Overview
  • The course is offered to candidates belonging to SC, ST, Women, EWS, General Category
  • No registration or training fee is charged for any candidates
  • A monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000/- will be provided to SC, ST, Women and EWS candidates only
  • Evaluation and Assessment will be done by C-DAC
  • Blockchain based Certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course
  • Access to PARAM Supercomputing facility for Hands-on during the course
Eligibility Criteria
  • Graduates who have completed B.E. / B.Tech. (all branches) / B.Sc. (all streams) / BCA.
  • Post Graduates who have completed MCA / M.Sc. (all streams) / M.Tech. (all streams).
  • Candidates must have secured 60% marks in the qualifying degree (5% relaxation for SC, ST candidates).
  • Preference will be given to candidates below 30 years of age. A relaxation of 5 years in the age limit will be provided to SC, ST candidates.

  • Last Date of Nominations: June 26th, 2025
  • Confirmation & Intimation of Selection: July 4th - 7th, 2025
  • Training Period: July 14, 2025 to December 31, 2025
  • Training Locations: Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram (based on the availability of seats at C-DAC centres)
