CIPET:IPT Chennai offers two year Post Graduate Degree programmes viz. M.Tech. in Plastics Technology and M.E. CAD/CAM under the affiliation of Anna University. These Post graduate degree programmes are specialized courses having the following salient feature:

Eligibility Criteria

M.Tech. (PT): B.E./B.Tech. (4 years) in Mechanical / Chemical / Production / Polymer / Plastics Engineering / Plastics Technology

M.E. (CAD/CAM): B.E./B.Tech. (4 years) in Mechanical / Automobile / Manufacturing / Production / Industrial / Mechatronics / Marine / Aeronautical

Note: Candidates those have appeared for GATE / CEETA PG conducted by Anna University and having minimum 50% marks in the relevant qualifying degree are only eligible to apply.

Admission Procedure

Students who are aspiring to pursue M. Tech. (PT) / M.E. (CAD/CAM) at CIPET:IPT Chennai should submit their application form following the steps given below:

Step 3: Enclose self attested copies of the relevant certificates.
Step 4: Submit the application form online.

Note: Admissions into M.Tech. (PT) / M.E. (CAD/CAM) Courses are for lapsed seats if any after the Anna University PG Counseling (CEAP) and is purely based on GATE / CEETA PG score.

Intake: 18 seats in each programme. (Reservation policy is applicable as per Anna University, Chennai)
