2nd Notice for Admission to Postgraduate Courses in Physics and Zoology 2026

Students who have graduated in 2022 or later may apply for admission to Postgraduate Courses in Physics and Zoology at Gurudas College under the University of Calcutta in the academic session 2026-27. Applicants who satisfy the eligibility criteria of CU are requested to apply within 23rd August 2026 by e-mail to :

The candidates must attach the following documents to the e-mail :

1. An application addressed to the Principal, Gurudas College along with the curriculum vitae / biodata (containing the phone number and e-mail address for communication).
2. The application form if previously submitted to CU
3. Marksheet of B. Sc. (all semesters).
4. A proof of their date of birth (Admit Card of class 10 examination or equivalent)
5. SC / ST / OBC / PwD / EWS / BPL certificate (if applicable). Reserved Category candidates from outside West Bengal have to submit Domicile Certificate (Format given in CU Admission portal) to avail the reservation facilities
6. The undertaking / self declaration (Format given in CU Admission portal).

Candidates selected for admission will be immediately notified of the date of online payment of admission fees. The admission fee is Rs. 15700/- for the MSc courses in both Physics and Zoology. The details of the fee structure of both the courses are posted on the college's website.
