The Full-time M. Tech (Self-Financed) Programme is offered in the following Departments:

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
  • M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
  • M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering
  • M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Cyber Security
  M.Tech. (CSE – Cyber Security) is offered jointly by IIITDM Kurnool and CRRAO AIMSCS, Hyderabad. 1st Semester at IIITDM Kurnool and 2nd Semester at CRRAO AIMSCS. Final year project at either institute, fellowship may be offered by CRRAO AIMSCS for final year projects carried out there, based on performance.

  • M.Tech. in Drones and IoT
  • M.Tech. in VLSI and Microelectronics
  • M.Tech. in Signal Processing and Communication
• Mechanical Engineering (ME)
  • M.Tech. in Robotics and Automation
  • M.Tech in Smart Manufacturing

First class with 60% aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA in B. Tech/B.E. for GEN/OBC/EWS category and minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0/10 CGPA in B. Tech/B.E. for candidates under SC/ST/PwD category.

Note 1: Additional educational qualifications will be considered as per Annexure-III . These qualifications may be verified based on the corresponding GATE qualifying degree and GATE paper.
Note 2: The number of posts is subject to increase or decrease at the sole discretion of IIITDM Kurnool.

Stage 1: After receiving the applications, the duly constituted committee will scrutiny all the applications and shortlist the candidates to appear for written test.

Stage 2: The Institute will conduct the written test to all the shortlisted candidates and the details are as follows:
The written test (for 100 marks) comprises two parts:

• Part A consists of Engineering Mathematics and Aptitude with a weightage of 40 marks.
• Part B will have department specific question paper. Each paper will carry a weightage of 60 marks.
• The total duration of the exam (Part A & Part B) will be two hours. Detailed syllabus for the written test is provided in Annexure-I .
• Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct response, and a negative marking of 0.5 marks will be applied for every incorrect response.

Stage 3: After completion of examination, the duly constituted committee will shortlist candidates based on merit for taking admission into M.Tech. (Self-Financed) Program at IIITDM Kurnool.

• All the necessary documents are to be uploaded online. The proof of payment of registration fee must accompany the application form.
• Please note that the application fee is Rs. 500/- for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for others (SC/ST/PwD).
