The relevant dates related to M.Tech. admission are as follows.

Minimum CPI of either 6.0 in a 10-point scale or 60% of marks in the qualifying degree, fulfilling specific requirements for different disciplines, as indicated below. Additional conditions for candidates still to appear in qualifying examinations
Candidates still to appear in their qualifying degree examinations may also apply, provided they appear in all their qualifying degree examinations and complete all requirements for their degrees before 31/07/2026. If selected, such candidates shall be admitted provisionally, and they will have to furnish the results of their qualifying degree examinations latest by 30/10/2026.
Further, they must fulfil the minimum requirements of marks/CPI, and other conditions. Failure to fulfil any of these requirements, shall automatically result in cancellation of admission.

Relaxation for SC/ST/PwD Candidates:
Eligibility criteria will be relaxed by 5% marks or 0.5 CPI for SC/ST/PwD applicants.
Reservation of Seats for SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer), EWS, and PwD categories. OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates will have to enclose certificate and self-declaration statement as per format indicated below. The OBC (NCL) Certificate, issued by competent authority, on or after 01-09-2025, shall only be acceptable.
SC, ST, and EWS students must provide certificates issued by a competent authority.
PwD candidates must produce approved Medical Certificate for 40% (or more) disability.

Application form along with the self-attested copies of all degrees; mark sheets must be uploaded in the google form using a single pdf. In case and GATE / NET score card copy is available, the same should also be uploaded in the single pdf along with the aforementioned documents. The application form (other than Annexures) should be filled in the provided Word File template and converted to pdf before uploading.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview. The details of online interview will be mentioned in the call letter sent via mail. There may be a written test too, and if there is, it will be mentioned in the call letter. The students will have to pay the first semester requisite fees on due time after declaration of result in order to reserve their seat. Waitlisted candidates will be offered the seat if any seat remains vacant due to non-payment of fees.
