Date and Time of Written Test: July 06, 2026 at 10:30 A.M.
Venue: 5th Floor of S. N. Bose Bhavan, Indian Statistical Institute, 203, B. T. Road, Kolkata - 700 108.

Date and Time of Interview: July 06, 202 at 02:30 P.M.
Venue: 5th Floor of S. N. Bose Bhavan, Indian Statistical Institute, 203, B. T. Road, Kolkata - 700 108.

• Candidates must report to the venue of the written test and interview 30 minutes prior to the designated time of the written test and interview.
• During the written test, the candidates must present the original of their valid photoid proof (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter Id, Passport, PAN) which they submitted at the time of application.
• During the interview, the candidates must present
  • the original and one photocopy of their valid photo-id proof (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter Id, Passport, PAN) which they submitted at the time of application.
  • originals and one set of photocopies of their academic records (e.g., mark sheets and certificates of board examinations);
  • originals and one set of photocopies of all supporting documents (e.g., Fellowship awarded certificate, Category certificate, PwBD certificate, EWS certificate, Domicile certificate etc.) submitted at the time of application.
• Travel Support: All outstation candidates belonging to GEN-EWS, SC/ST and PwBD categories will be provided travel support for attending written test and interview through reimbursement of two-way sleeper/second class railway fare and/or bus fare between their home station and the place of written test and interview by the shortest route, on submission of the original or photocopy (as applicable) of their railway and/or bus tickets.
  
  Eligibility for travel support of candidates will be subject to verification of the relevant certificates at the time of the interview.
  
  For reimbursement of travel expenses, which will be made via bank transfer, the candidate must provide, at the time of interview, particulars of his/her bank account, including Account name and number, Bank name, branch, address and IFSC.
• A limited number of shared, on campus accommodation is available for outstation candidates appearing for written test and interview. It may be noted that the accommodation will be arranged for a maximum of two days and one night only. Interested candidates are requested to contact the Dean of Studies Office, by email at deanoffice@isical.ac.in with "PhD(CS) - Channe l2" as the subject of the mail, at least seven days in advance of the interview date.
