Notice for Physical Verification of Documents of Candidates Admitted through Cap
during the 1st Phase (From 09/06/2026 To 15/06/2026)

All candidates who have taken admission to 4-Year B.A./B.Sc. Major Courses (Honours & Honours with Research) in Lady Brabourne College in the session 2026-27, through the Centralised Admission Portal during the 1st phase (9th June to 15th June 2026), are required to report in person to the college for physical verification of their original documents. Admission will stand cancelled if candidates fail to complete the process of physical verification within the Classes for UG Semester 1 will commence from 06.07.2026.

Please follow the schedule below for physical verification of documents:

Schedule for verification

Date and time schedule of reporting should be strictly followed by the candidates. Candidates must report in person on the above- mentioned dates. However, if a candidate fails to report in person due to medical condition/emergency, a person authorised by her should report on her behalf with all the relevant documents mentioned above. The said person should bring proper letter of authorisation where his/her signature will be attested by the candidate.
During physical verification of Documents candidates will produce the following and these will be retained by the Department after verification:
1. Print out of downloaded Application form for Admission as downloaded from the Centralised Admission Portal (duly signed by the candidate & her Guardian / Parent).
2. Downloaded receipt of Admission Fees paid online
3. Print out of Admission Document issued by the Centralised Admission Portal
4. Recent passport size photograph-2 copies

Candidates should bring the following documents in ORIGINAL for verification and self-attested photocopies of the same:
1. Age Proof Document – Admit Card/Certificate of Madhyamik/Equivalent Examination/Birth Certificate
2. Class X (Madhyamik or equivalent) Marksheet
3. Class XII (H.S. or equivalent) Marksheet
4. Registration Certificate of Class XII (H.S. or equivalent)
5. Aadhaar Card
6. Caste Certificate (certified by competent authority), if applicable
7. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Certificate (certified by competent authority), if applicable
8. EWS certificate of the current financial year (certified by competent authority), if applicable
9. BPL Certificate Document, if applicable
10. Migration Certificate Document, if applicable
11. Equivalence Certificate Document, if applicable
12. Registration Certificate – only for candidates already registered under CU

Students must also bring self-attested photocopies of the above documents.

• Application forms should be duly signed by the candidates’ parent /guardian.
• Classes for UG Semester 1 will start from 06.07.2026.
• Admission will not be valid if a candidate fails to report for physical verification during the stipulated time and the Candidature of the said candidate will stand cancelled.
