Admission Notice 2026

Applications are invited for admission to the various Programmes being run at Patna Women’s College, Patna for the academic year 2026–2027. Application forms for 2026–2027 will be available on the College website (www.patnawomenscollege.in) from 01.02.2026 to 15.03.2026. Forms to be filled in Online. Appearing candidates of +2/Intermediate or Equivalent Examination also will be eligible for the Entrance Test (for UG Programmes) and Appearing candidates of UG Programmes may also be eligible for Admission to PG Programmes / PG Diploma Programmes.

Admission will be done strictly on the basis of the Merit list prepared after the Entrance Test / Interview-2026 for the respective Programmes of study.

- Eligibility

Advertising & Marketing Management (AMM)/ Computer Applications (BCA)/English Communication and Media (ECM)/ Business Administration (BBA)/ Microbiology (MBIO)/ Mass Communication (BMC) (Hons.):	The Candidates must obtain not less than 50% marks (General category including BC-I & BC-II/EWS) and 45% for SC & ST.
B.A. & B.Sc. (Hons.):	The Candidates must obtain not less than 45% marks in the subject opted for Honours study in the +2 or equivalent examination.
B.Com. (Hons.) in: Accounting & Finance Commerce Professional-Taxation and Auditing	The Candidates have passed the +2 equivalent examination in Commerce with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate. OR The Candidates have passed the +2 equivalent examination in Arts or Science with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.

Compartment/failed candidates will not be considered even if they have qualified in the Entrance Test 2026 (Written+Viva ).

The applicants have to Upload Xerox copies of qualifying examination Admit Card/Marksheet of 11th Standard (for Appearing Candidates) / Marksheet (for Pass-out Candidates) and Caste Certificate (if applicable) issued by the C.O./S.D.O./D.M./Baptism Certificate (if applicable).

Entrance Test Pattern :

The test will be objective type with the use of Blue / Black pen and OMR sheet for B.A.
The pattern of the entrance test will be as follows :-
- (a) Full marks : 70
- (b) Duration of Exam. : 1 hours
- (c) No. of objective questions : 70 each carrying one mark, no negative marking
