Undergraduate Admission to BA / BSc Programmes 2026

• Interested candidates should apply online and make online payments only at www.vidyamandira.ac.in. Please read the prospectus and other instructions from the college website carefully before applying. One may fill up any number of application forms following the eligibility criteria mentioned in the admission norms.
• Cost for conducting written test and/or viva voce:
  • Rs. 375/- (for SC, ST, PH, EWS and G-BPL category)
  • Rs. 425/- (for OBC-A & OBC-B)
  • Rs 475/- (for all other General categories)
• General Eligibility:
  • Only for Male students
  • Successfully passed Higher Secondary/equivalent examination in 2026 or 2025 or 2024
  • Additional form fill-up criteria for applying to their desired Major programmes (see later)

• Important Note:
  • Students must produce all relevant documents including mark sheets, admit card, copy of online payment receipt (proof of the submission of fees) in the original during the written test and/or viva voce, admission and arrival at the hostel, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

  • List of probable Minor subjects: Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Zoology, Electronics, Statistics, and Computer Science. The selection of the Minor is to be done on the basis of the instructions on the day of admission.
  • The College Authority reserves the right to make the final decision regarding any admission related matters including tie-breaking for admission tests (written and/or Viva Voce).
  • The Principal's Office will contact waitlisted candidates by phone between July 1 and July 29, 2026, strictly in order of merit as vacancies arise. Waitlisted candidates who do not receive any communication from the college within this period are less likely to get admission in this college during this admission session. To ensure that the Principal’s Office can smoothly carry on the admissions process, we kindly request that candidates wait for our call rather than inquiring via email, telephone, or in-person visits.
