Eligibility for PG Admission:

Chemistry / Computer Science / English / Physics / Sanskrit:
-
Applicants seeking admission to the Post-graduate programme in the listed
subjects (except Data Science & AI and Social Work (MSW)) are required to have
completed their undergraduate studies with 3 year B.A., B.Sc. Honours
Programme/4 year B.A., B.Sc. Honours in the respective subjects.

Students exiting a four-year B.A., B.Sc. Programme after the successful
completion of three years and obtaining a B.A./B.Sc. degree with Major in the
respective subjects are also eligible.

Data Science & AI:
-
Applicants seeking admission to the Master of Science (M.Sc.) programme in Data
Science & AI must have successfully completed a three-year or four-year B.Sc.
Honours degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics,
Economics, Physics, or Electronics from a recognized university or institution.

Students exiting a four-year B.Sc. Programme after the successful completion of
three years and obtaining a B.Sc. degree with a Major in Data Science, Computer
Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, or Electronics from a
recognized university or institution shall be eligible for admission to this
Programme. Candidates who have completed an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science,
Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Physics from a recognized university or
institution are also eligible to apply.

Candidates holding qualifications such as Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.),
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), or
Master of Computer Applications (MCA), B.Stat./M.Stat./B.Math./M.Math./B.Sc.
Quantitative Economics (QE) from a recognized university or institution are also
eligible to apply.

Master of Social Work (MSW):

Applicants seeking admission to the Master of Social Work (MSW) Programme
must have successfully completed a three-year or four-year B.A., B.Com., B.Sc.
Honours degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Candidates who have completed an M.A./M.Com./M.Sc. in any discipline from a
recognized university or institution are also eligible to apply.

Students exiting a four-year B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. Programme after the successful
completion of three years and obtaining a B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. degree in any
discipline from a recognized university or institution shall be eligible for admission
to this programme.

Candidates holding professional qualifications such as Bachelor of Engineering
(B.E.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA),
or Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Bachelor of Business Administration
(BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a recognized university or
institution are also eligible to apply.

Note:
- a) The candidates whose final results have not been published yet, may apply online on the basis of their Honours aggregate at the end of 2nd Year / 5th Semester for 3-Year Degree Programme and 3rd Year/7th Semester for 4-Year Degree Programme whichever is the latest.
- b) They should not have any arrear that is yet to be cleared.
- c) Final admission shall be granted subject to the submission of the final marksheet at the time of admission or, in the case of pending results, within one month thereafter, provided the candidate fulfils the prescribed eligibility criteria. Non-compliance within the stipulated period shall result in the cancellation of admission.
- d) 5% relaxation in aggregate & subject (wherever applicable) for SC/ST candidates.

Issue & Submission of Application Forms (Online only):
- a) Date : 2 June 2026 (5.00 pm) to 8 July 2026 (5.00 pm)
Note: All the formalities including online payment to be completed within this period.
- b) Applicant should carefully keep with him the Admit Card generated through the college admission web portal. This may be required at different stages of the admission process and even during the actual time of arrival at the hostel.
- a) Recent passport size photograph & Signature (JPG format, file size < 100 kb).
- c) No Candidate will be allowed to take the admission test/viva voce without production of the Admit Card.

Provisional Merit List:
List for provisional selection will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the Admission Test/viva voce.

If there is a tie among the final short-listed candidates, the tie-breaking will be done based on the following order:

1st Key: Percentage of the Aggregate Marks obtained in UG Honours / B.E. / B.Tech. / BCA / MCA / B.Stat. / M.Stat. / B.Math. / M.Math. / B.Sc. Quantitative Economics (QE) programme.

2nd Key: A suitable criterion will be decided by the college authority based
on the PG Programme in question. The criterion will be announced at the
time of announcement of result if the use of second tie-breaking situation
arises.

Classes for Data Science & AI programme are scheduled to be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The Master of Social Work (MSW) is a full time regular course.

Scholarships are granted to a restricted number of meritorious but financially weak students.
