Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum eligibility for Admission in 5-Year B.A. LL.B (Hons.): Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the Board recognized by the Bankura University,

  • Cut-off marks for GENERAL (UNRESERVED) Category – 45% marks in 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the Board recognized by the Bankura University.
  • Cut-off marks for SC /ST Category – 40% marks in 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the Board recognized by the Bankura University.
  • Cut-off marks for OBC Category – 42% marks in 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the Board recognized by the Bankura University.
  • Age Limit – No restrictions on Upper Age Limit.


Intake:

  • The total intake for 5-year B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) is 60 + 06 (for Economically Weaker Section) = 66
  • Regarding the Management Quota (MQ) 10% of 60 seats which is 6 (six) seats.
The application fee: Rs. 600/- (Rs. Six hundred only)

Important Instruction

  • After Completion of Application in the Online Portal the Merit List will be published. This Merit List will contain the names of all the eligible candidates on the basis of the marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination. For this best five (5) of the 10+2 or equivalent examination subjects must be adopted for calculating the total marks and percentage. In case wherever only Four (4) subject are offered by any recognized Board/Council etc, as the case may be in 10+2 or equivalent examination, first Language will be doubled to prepare the merit list on the basis of best five of 10+2 subjects as stated earlier.
  • In case of equal marks in10+2 or equivalent examination, total marks/percentage of marks of immediately preceding examination is to be taken into account for ranking.
  • The entire admission process should be made online.
  • Documents to be uploaded by the students while filling up the online application:
    • Admit card and Mark-sheet of Madhyamik Examination.
    • Mark-sheet of Higher Secondary Examination.
    • Caste Certificate (where necessary).
    • PH Certificate (where necessary).
    • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) (where necessary).
  • After publication of Merit List if any discrepancies/ anomalies/ flaws found by the candidates, they may contact the helpline or helpdesk through mobile/ e-mail etc. for rectification of error but it should be done within the due date as provided under the lists of important dates.
  • Candidates can take admission by payment of required admission fees.
  • The candidates who will not take the admission as per the admission list published by this University, their candidature will not be considered for any further admission process.
  • However the admission will be confirmed only after verification of original documents and testimonials physically. Confirmation of admission of a student is subject to the physical verification of his/her original documents and testimonials which will be initiated only after giving proper notice in due course. Admission is liable to be cancelled if any discrepancies found in any document or information provided by the candidates during the process of admission at any time/ stage.
  • If required, subsequent admission list will be published after the publication of first admission list.
