It has been observed that the attendance of students in classes is significantly below the requirements prescribed under the University Ordinances. As per the University rules, students are expected to attend 100% of classes. However, a minimum attendance of two-thirds (67%) of the total classes held is mandatory to be eligible to appear in the End Semester Examinations.
It is further informed that in cases where a student’s attendance is below 67%, the College is authorized to debar the student from appearing in the End Semester Examinations, in accordance with the University Ordinances.
Students are advised to regularly check their monthly attendance records maintained by the concerned faculty members.
Any discrepancy in attendance or subject allocation must be immediately brought to the notice of the concerned faculty member or Course Coordinator for necessary correction at the earliest.
In this regard, all students are strictly advised to attend their classes regularly and monitor their attendance on a continuous basis.
