Objective: The MSW program is aimed at developing highly skilled social workers who are equipped to tackle social issues and promote well-being. This course offers a comprehensive blend of theoretical learning and practical exposure, emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach to social work practice.

Eligibility & Selection:
2 years Full time (4 Semesters) Eligibility-
(i) Honours in any subject OR Graduate with 45% marks
Or
(ii) Deputed (Govt./NGO) Candidate with 40% marks in Graduation under 10+2+3 system
One third of the total seats are reserved for the students of Vidyasagar University. 15% of the seats are booked for SC and 7.5% of the seats are booked for ST candidates provided they fulfill the eligibility and selection requirements. 5 seats are reserved for candidates sponsored by various state departments. However the seats may be filled up by General Candidates if the reserved quota remains unfulfilled.
Application for admission must be made in prescribed format along with the necessary documents.
