Amrita Entrance Examination – Life Sciences, Agriculture & Medical Sciences (AEEL) 2026 is the admission test for various programs offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. These programs include Life Sciences, Agriculture, Pharmacy and Nursing available across multiple campuses.

This exam is for students who have completed their +2 (Class 12) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. If you want to join any of these programs, you need to appear for AEEL 2026.

The exam will be conducted in 60+ cities across India, making it accessible to students nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria
Coimbatore
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture
    Candidates must have completed 10+2 or Intermediate with PCMB, PCB, or PCM (P – Physics, C – Chemistry, B – Biology, M – Mathematics) from a recognized Board or University with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and not less than 55% in the above subjects to be eligible to apply.
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Science and Nutrition (with exit option after 3 years)
    50% Marks Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (with or without mathematics) in the Higher Secondary examination and a Valid Rank in the Amrita Entrance Examination – Life Sciences.
Kochi
  • B.Pharm. (Regular)
    - Candidates should be of minimum 17 years and maximum 23 years as on December 31st of each admission year.
    - Pass in Plus Two with an aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students who have studied Mathematics in place of Biology are also eligible.

    B.Pharm. (Lateral)
    - Candidates should be of minimum 17 years and maximum 23 years as on December 31st of each admission year.
    - Pass in Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
    - Pass in Plus Two with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. In place of Biology or Maths are also eligible.
  • Pharm.D.
    - Candidates should be of minimum 17 years and maximum 23 years as on December 31st of each admission year.
    - Pass in Plus Two with an aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students who have studied Mathematics in place of Biology are also eligible.
    - Any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
  • B.Sc. Nursing
    Must have passed 12th in the first attempt and with a minimum of 60% in English and 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together from any State Higher Secondary Board or equivalent, NRI’s and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who qualifies from foreign universities will have to produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. The candidates shall be medically fit.
Faridabad
  • B.Sc. Nursing
    - Candidates should be of minimum 17 years and maximum 23 years as on December 31st of each admission year.
    Must have passed 12th in the first attempt and with a minimum of 60% in English and 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together from any State Higher Secondary Board or equivalent, NRI’s and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who qualifies from foreign universities will have to produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. The candidates shall be medically fit.
