In addition to the result, the board will also publish the merit list and individual scorecards for candidates.
The Bihar STET 2025 examination took place between October 14 and October 31, 2025, for individuals seeking eligibility to teach at the secondary and senior secondary levels in Bihar. Paper 1 is meant for teaching positions in Classes 9 and 10, while Paper 2 is conducted for Classes 11 and 12.
To qualify, candidates from the General category must secure at least 50% marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 45.5% for Backward Classes (BC), 42.5% for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and 40% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), women candidates, and persons with disabilities.
The examination consisted entirely of multiple-choice questions and did not include any negative marking. Candidates who successfully pass the STET will receive an eligibility certificate, which remains valid for a lifetime.
