Admission to Integrated First Degree Programs (B.E., B.Pharm, M.Sc.) at BITS Pilani campuses, 2026-27

Read the below instructions carefully, before filling up the online application form. You are advised to take a printout of these instructions to refer to the same while filling out the online application form:

  • Application Procedure:
    • Apply Online: Applications can only be submitted through the official BITS Pilani admission website: admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.
    • Exam Sessions: BITSAT-2026 will be conducted in two sessions:
      1) Session-1: 15th April, 2026 to 17th April, 2026*
      2) Session-2: 24th May, 2026 to 26th May, 2026*
    • Application Deadline: The last date to apply for Session-1 or both sessions is 16th March, 2026.
  • Steps to Submit the Application:
    • Registration:
      - Register to obtain a system-generated unique 8-digit Application Number (User ID) and Password.
      - Use a valid email ID and mobile number that will remain active throughout the admission process.
      - OTPs for validation will be sent to the registered email and mobile number.
    • Important Details:
      - The Application Number and Password will also be sent to the registered email and mobile number. (Overseas candidates will receive these details via email only).
      - Ensure accurate entry of Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email Address, Gender, and Test City Preferences, as these details cannot be changed later.
  • Participation Guidelines:
    • Attempts Allowed: Candidates can appear a maximum of two times in BITSAT-2026.
    • Session Selection:
      Candidates can register for Session-1 or both sessions while submitting the application.
      If the candidates initially register only for Session-1, they may opt for Session-2 later (application window: 20th April, 2026 to 02nd May, 2026).
    • Score Consideration: For candidates appearing in both sessions, the higher of the two scores will be considered for admission.
  • Fee Structure:
    • The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

    • Application Deadline: Submit the online form and fee by 05:00 P.M. on 16th March, 2026.
    • Edit Window: Corrections can be made between 18th and 20th March 2026.
      Note: Certain fields such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email Address, Gender, and Test City Preferences cannot be edited post-registration.
    • Session-2 Application Window: 20th April, 2026
    • to 02nd May, 2026
      (for candidates registering after the initial deadline).
  • Application Submission Guidelines:
    • Submit only one application form; duplicate submissions will be rejected.
    • Ensure all entries are accurate before submission.
    • After submission, take a printout of the application for future reference.
  • Image Upload Requirements:
    • Photograph: File Format: jpg/jpeg and Size: 50 KB to 100 KB
    • Signature: File Format: jpg/jpeg and Size: 10 KB to 100 KB
  • Additional Information:
    • *Any changes in dates or other important announcements will be communicated on the official website.
    • Use the provided navigation links during the online process and avoid using the browser's back button.
    • Always log out and close the browser after completing the application to safeguard personal details.

    B.Pharm.
    M.Sc.*: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Semiconductor and Nanoscience
    M.Sc.: General Studies.
  • at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus:
    B.E.: Chemical, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Computer Engg., Mathematics and Computing, Mechanical, Environmental and Sustainability Engg.
    M.Sc.*: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Semiconductor and Nanoscience.
  • at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus:
    B.E.: Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mathematics and Computing, Mechanical, Environmental and Sustainability Engg.
    B.Pharm.
    M.Sc.*: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Semiconductor and Nanoscience.
* The candidates who join in M.Sc. programme are eligible to apply for dual degree in Engineering at BITS Pilani after completion of first year. This assignment is made by competition on their performance at BITS at the end of the first year. (For more details, refer to Admissions Modality available on the BITS admissions website: www.bitsadmission.com).

Candidates appearing for the BITSAT-2026, based on their BITSAT score, will not only have the opportunity to apply for Admissions in First Degree (B.E. M.Sc., and B.Pharm.) Programmes offered for the entire duration of the programmes exclusively by the Indian Campuses of BITS Pilani but also will have the opportunity to apply for a few selected 2+2 Joint Collaborative Programmes offered by BITS Pilani and a few reputed International Universities in Australia and USA (e.g., RMIT University, Melbourne; Iowa State University, Ames, USA; University at Buffalo, New York, USA; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, USA; Centrale Superlac Paris, France). These 2+2 Joint-Collaborative Programmes initiatives will allow students to spend their initial two years at the BITS Pilani campus in India, benefiting from cutting-edge facilities and esteemed faculty resources of BITS Pilani. Subsequently, students admitted under Joint-Collaborative Programmes will spend the remaining two years at their chosen foreign university, providing access to a world-class international education. More details about the Joint-Collaborative Programmes initiatives shall be available on the website in due course of time.
