Admission into the Five-Year Integrated BA LLB (Honours) / BBA LLB (Honours) / BBA LLB (Non Honours) Programmes, for the academic session 2026-2027

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for appearing in the Common Admission Test, 2026 for admission in to the Five Year Integrated BA LLB (Honours), BBA LLB( Honours) and BBA LLB (Non Honours) Programme for the academic Session 2026-2027 at Centre for Juridical Studies, Dibrugarh University and Affiliated Law Colleges of Dibrugarh University. All eligible candidates intending to get admission into the BA / BBA LLB (Honours) and BBA LLB (Non Honours) Programme offered by the Centre For Juridical Studies at Dibrugarh University Campus and affiliated Colleges (Dr. R. K. B. Law College, SIPE Law College, Jorhat Law College, Golaghat Law College and NERIM Law College, Guwahati) shall require to appear and qualify in the Common Admission Test, 2026. At present Total intake of seats are:

Eligibility for Admission
A candidate for admission into the Five Year Integrated BA/BBA LLB (Honours) / BBA LLB (Non-Honours) Programme should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination securing at least 45% in aggregate of the total marks. The candidates appearing in the final Examination of Higher Secondary (10+2) level will also be provisionally eligible for appearing in the test and there shall be a relaxation of 5% marks for SC and ST applicants and 3% for OBC applicants. Provisionally allowed candidates must produce mark sheet and pass certificates of qualifying examination at the time of admission.
(Any other issue of eligibility shall be decided as per BCI rules)
Admission Procedure
The admission into the aforesaid Programme(s) shall be allowed only on merit basis through the Common Admission Test to be conducted by the University. Admission cannot be claimed by any applicant as a matter of right. On being selected for admission, the applicant shall require to appear before Admission Committee at the Centre for Juridical Studies, Dibrugarh University and respective Colleges with all original certificates, Mark sheets and other requirements on scheduled date and time as per the notification to be published for the same separately. If any selected candidate fails to deposit prescribed admission fee within the stipulated time/relevant marks sheet, certificates including PRC/ Provisional Certificate from the Local man in case of non availability of PRC / Caste certificates / OBC (Non Creamy Layer Certificate) / EWS Certificate etc, as may be necessary, his/her admission shall automatically stand cancelled. The Affiliated Law Colleges shall also follow the said procedure for maintaining transparency in the process.

Reservation
Statutory Reservation Policy of the Government of Assam with Dibrugarh University Rules shall be followed.
Application Procedure
  • Applications for appearing in the Common Admission Test for admission in to Five Year Integrated BA/BBA LLB(Honours) / BBA LLB (Non Honours) Programme shall be made through online mode only. No other means of applications shall be accepted.
  • Online Registration for submission of Application Form will begin from 11/05/2026. The last date for submission of application is 05/06/2026.
  • For submission of the Online Application, intending candidates shall follow the following instructions:
    • The candidate shall require to visit the Admission Portal in the Dibrugarh University website www.dibru.ac.in.
    • The Candidate shall register on the portal by clicking the “Register” button by mentioning his/her name, mobile number and a password. The mobile number will be verified through an OTP. Please keep the password for login. The mobile number registered shall be used for future correspondence, as and when necessary and the mobile number should be in working mode.
    • After successful registration, the candidate needs to login using his/her mobile number and the password.
    • After login, the candidate needs to click on the “Apply” button corresponding to the link of “Common Admission Test for BA/BBA LLB(Honours) and BBALLB(Non-Honours)” which will generate an application form. The candidate needs to fill up the application form step by step carefully.
    • After completion of the filling-up of the form, Candidate needs to click the button “Submit and Review”. A preview of the filled-up form will be displayed. Candidates are advised to carefully cross-check the information and if anything needs to be corrected at this stage, they can go back and edit.
    • After ensuring that all information displayed on the Preview is correct, the candidate needs to click 'Pay now & Submit the application' and then pay the application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand) only through online mode (Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / UPI).
    • The application form will be considered as finally submitted only when the application fee is successfully paid by the candidate and an online receipt is generated confirming the payment. Once submitted, the application form cannot be edited by the applicant afterwards.
    • There will be a button to download the Application Form for future reference.
    • Admit Cards will be generated only a few days prior to the date of the Test. Once generated, candidates will be able to download their Admit Cards from the same portal by logging in with their credentials. A notification regarding the generation and availability of Admit Cards on the portal will be published in the Dibrugarh University website.
    • The Candidate shall have to take a print out of the Admit Card and bring the same to the Examination Hall on the Date of the Test for verification.
    • Only one application shall be submitted by one candidate.
    • No individual letter(s) will be issued and sent to the candidates. regarding the admission process. Candidates shall visit the University website www.dibru.ac.in for any relevant information.
    Important Note:
    The candidates are advised to ensure eligibility before applying for the Admission Test. It be noted that appearance in the Admission Test shall not entitle applicants to claim admission, if minimum eligibility norms are not fulfilled by him/her at the time of admission.

The venue of the Centre shall be notified later on. Candidates are advised to visit the Dibrugarh University website frequently to know the Test Venues. The Applicants shall require to mention the Centre name while filling up forms for appearing in the CAT, 2026 and once choice is given, same will not be allowed to be changed for appearing in the Admission Test.
