The Forest Research Institute Deemed to be University admission test, 2026 will be held at 13 centers in the country on Sunday, 3rd May, 2026 for the following courses:

Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.fridu.edu.in. Candidates have to send the duly filled application form along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred only) for each course in favour of Registrar, FRI Deemed to be University payable at Dehradun and send it to the Registrar, FRI Deemed to be University, P.O. IPE Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun–248195 on or before the last date.

The last date of receipt of completed application form: 31st March, 2026.

Important: Forms received after the last date will not be accepted in any case.

It is advised that the application form be sent by Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier. Postal delay/Lost will not be accepted as a plea to entertain applications after the last date. Candidates applying for more than one course are required to submit separate application forms in separate envelopes for each course.

Admit card containing centre code and roll number will be mailed to the applicant by the fourth week of April, 2026.

If admit card is not received by 28th April, 2026, the Registrar, FRI Deemed to be University may be contacted on e-mail registrarfriu@icfre.org

Please quote your Name, Fathers Name and Date of Birth in all correspondence with the Registrar, FRI Deemed to be University, P.O. I.P.E., Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun – 248 195.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for admission to these courses are as follows:

1	01 (A)	M.Sc. Forestry	B.Sc. degree with at least one of the subjects namely Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology or a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture or Forestry. (with minimum 50% aggregate for GEN/OBC/EWS and relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST category).
2	01 (B)	M.Sc. Wood Science & Technology	B.Sc. degree with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (PCM) or B.Sc. degree in Forestry. (with minimum 50% aggregate for GEN/OBC/EWS and relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST category).
3	01 (C)	M.Sc. Environment Management	B.Sc. degree in any branch of Basic or Applied Sciences or Bachelor's degree in Forestry or Agriculture or BE/B.Tech in Environment Science. (with minimum 50% aggregate for GEN/OBC/EWS and relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST category).
4	01 (D)	M.Sc. Cellulose & Paper Technology	B.Sc. degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects. B.E./B.Tech. (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering). (with minimum 50% aggregate for GEN/OBC/EWS and relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST category).
