About Entrance Test
The Graphic Era Common Entrance Test (GECET) is an initiative by the Graphic Era Group of Institutions, which includes both Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) and Graphic Era Hill University. Located in Dehradun, Bhimtal and Haldwani, Uttarakhand, respectively, these prestigious institutions are dedicated to fostering excellence in education and research.

Launched in 2024, GECET aims to identify exceptional talent and provide the support needed for individuals to thrive in their chosen disciplines. The test is conducted in two phases, each offering various scholarship opportunities and serving as a basis for admission to multiple courses.

Format
GECET is conducted entirely online, allowing candidates to take the exam from the convenience of their homes using laptops or desktops. The exam includes 100 questions and is completed within a 2-hour duration. The questions are designed to assess different sections relevant to the candidate’s selected course of interest.

Candidates are allowed to appear for exams in up to 2 courses, providing the opportunity to explore various academic options within the Graphic Era Group of Institutions.

Application Process
Online Application Offline Application
  • Initiate Process: Candidates can initiate the online application process by visiting the official website geu.ac.in.
  • Eligibility: Upon payment of the admission application fee of INR 1,500/-, candidates automatically become eligible for GECET.
  • Application Options: The application can be completed either through the dedicated GECET portal or through the regular application portals at geu.ac.in or gehu.ac.in, depending on the candidate's preference.
  • Offline Application: Offline applications can be purchased or filled out at any of the Graphic Era campuses or admissions center’s for the same cost of INR 1,500/-.
  • Application Requirements: Candidates must fill out the online application, upload a scanned copy of the offline application form, and include the custom Serial Number printed on the form.
  • Fee Exemption: As the admission fee of INR 1,500/- is already paid during the purchase of the offline application, it does not need to be paid again during the online submission.
Exam Pattern
GECET is conducted entirely online and includes:
• 100 questions
• 2-hour duration
The questions are structured to assess various sections relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of interest.
