IIHM is organising eCHAT - as an online platform for Common Hospitality Admission Test for IIHM - India's Best Hotel Management College and Largest School Chain. Organizer of World’s Biggest Culinary Heats "Young Chef Olympiad" with participation from over 50 Countries.

Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed/appeared in Class 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects are eligible for eCHAT 2026.
Upper age limit: 22 years as on 1st July, 2026.

eCHAT:
eCHAT stands for Common Hotel and Hospitality Admissions Test. It is a unique Management Aptitude Test based on state of the art Web technology and web solutions availed by thousands of students. IIHM organizes eCHAT every year as an online platform for admissions in Hotel and Hospitality Management.

Nature of eCHAT:
eCHAT is an objective type of test with multiple-choice answers. It comprises Test of English Language, Mathematical Aptitude Test, Test of Reasoning and General Awareness. There will be 50 questions to be answered in 60 minutes.

Admission Procedure

Students can collect the form & prospectus from the respective IIHM campus by making a payment of Rs. 600/- by cash, cheque or demand draft in favour of "International Institute of Hotel Management", payable at kolkata / delhi / pune / bangalore / jaipur / ahmedabad / hyderabad / siliguri & submit the filled up application form (in person or by post) to the respective IIHM campus.
Students can download form from the website and submit the filled up application form (in person or by post) to the respective IIHM campus along with cash, cheque or demand draft of Rs. 600/- in favour of “International Institute of Hotel Management” payable at kolkata / delhi / pune / bangalore / jaipur / ahmedabad / hyderabad / siliguri, click here to download.
Students can also apply online along with online payment through our web portal: (https://echat.elink.in). visit the link and click on "register now" and fill up the form and also make the online payment. NB: In case of online payment the prospectus will be sent via post.
