Inviting Online Application Form for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2026 Session
The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) to the NTA from 2019 onwards.
JEE (Main) comprises two papers:
Paper 1 - Admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E./B.Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and participating State Government Institutions/Universities. It also serves as the eligibility test for JEE (Advanced).
Paper 2 - Admission to B.Arch and B.Planning.
For the academic session 2026–27, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) - 2026 will be conducted in two sessions:
Session 1: January 2026
Session 2: April 2026

| For Paper 1 and Part-I of Paper 2, each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers in both Section A and Section B. | ||||||
