PROGRAMMES & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

JEMAT, or the Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test, is a state-level entrance exam in West Bengal, India, primarily for admission to MBA and related postgraduate management programs. It's conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT, WB).

Candidates in final year/ final semester will be granted provisional admission and will have to submit their final marksheet before a prescribed deadline (To be informed later).

The affiliated colleges of MAKAUT, WB and other institution may have different criteria for admission; mere qualifying JEMAT examination does not make one eligible for admission in the colleges/institutions of their choice.

Eligibility:
The minimum qualification for admission to MBA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts / Science / Commerce / Engineering / Technology / Medical / Dental / Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) to be held in 2025 may apply.

Candidates applying for MBA course should have passed / appeared 3years Bachelor's degree in Arts / Science / Commerce / Engineering / Technology / Medical / Dental / Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized Universities with a valid JEMAT/CAT/MAT rank card.
Degrees acquired from IGNOU and any Open University within state jurisdiction are also eligible.
Foreign students are not eligible to appear for JEMAT examination.
